We are home with our two. Here is our family picture. All of the information below was from when we first started our blog and our adoption journey. Thank you all for coming along with us. Our blog now mainly consists of life as we know it now.
Hello! Thank you for visiting! We hope that you are here for inspiration or support. Whether you are dropping by to offer your support, or read about our journey to give you hope, we are glad you stopped by.
We are currently a one kid family living in the great state of Louisiana and we would like to be a two kid family…maybe even three! We are taking it one day at a time. We love old houses, the outdoors, our church and just good old fashioned fun — hanging out with friends. I (Andrea) am enrolled as a full time student and am obtaining a second degree in Psychology (I have a B.A. in music), then I have plans to obtain a Masters in Counseling. I also work part time for a law firm. My husband works for a large company in the Alexandria area. Vivian is gainfully employed as a full time first grader. However, on occasion, she does tutor mommy in Science. 🙂
Thank you for your love and support during this journey. Children are precious miracles from God, no matter where they were born or where they come from. We cannot wait to share our love and welcome another child into our family. Currently, our criteria is a boy, 4 years old or younger. We would like to adopt from Asia and are applying to that program with the Great Wall of China adoption agency. We are trusting God to send us the right child for our family. Everything always has a way of working out.
If you have any questions, you may leave a comment and I will email you back. Or you can email us at: BeautyOfAdoption@att.net
Let the journey begin!
Steven, Andrea and Vivian
***Update…somewhere during our journey, maybe around May, we decided to also look for a little girl around the age of four. Miraculously, Love Without Boundaries posted about a little girl who was turning four that needed a family and was from the same province that our son was from. We decided to do a double adoption and we are now home with both of our precious babies. Many people have asked us why we only talk about our son throughout our blog…it is because we did not know we were going to adopt our daughter until June and we were not at liberty to make the announcement until July sometime. You will note that after we made the announcement, we talked about both. If you see posts only referencing our son, then these were posted before we decided to adopt Lillian.****
