Documents back from Consulate

Since Steven’s birth certificate and our marriage license were received back in October, they were nearing the 6 month expiration date.   You have to have the Secretary of State and Chinese Consulate certification on the documents before they reach six months old.  So, I went ahead and sent those documents around for certification.  I just received them today from the Consulate.  So, those are complete!  Now, I only have 1,567,892 more to go!

On November 1, 2010, the consulate changed their policy regarding Authenticating documents.  You have to either come to the office in person, or send a representative.  They are located in Houston, Texas.  Thankfully a wonderful courier service, MyChinaDocs.com, specializes in this type of process.  I sent my documents to Cindy.  Her business walked them through and Fedex’d them back to me.  Thanks Cindy!

Our Home Study is Friday!!!!!!!!!  Its cold!!!!!!!  Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr……….
