So, the dossier prep begins

GWCA received our signed contract today and emailed me their dossier preparation guide.  It looked initimidating at first…it is 67 pages long!  But, after sorting through it all, it is really just pushing a bunch of paperwork around making sure you get it signed, dated, notarized, certified and authenticated correctly.  Even though notarized, certified and authenticated sound the same, they are not.  We will have our documents notarized here after they are prepared and we sign/others sign, then we have to send several documents to the Secretary of State for Certification on the State Level.  After we receive those documents back, we send them on for another seal, Authentication by the Chinese Consulate.  These are all requirements of the Chinese government.  Sounds like fun, eh?

Good thing I work for attorneys.  I am not short on notaries.  I also have use of a Fedex account, so I think we have this one in the bag.
